Hello!  My name is Ashley and I am a stay at home mother of two.  My daughter, Catie, is six and my son, Grant, is only a few months old.  I am happily married to the best man, Andy, who makes everything possible.  I have a passion and I have decided to follow it with the support of my family and friends.  I’ve started this blog posting as a way to share my experience as I learn to become a professional genealogist and learn more about my ancestry.  I also love to learn and experience all things of the past.  Everything from visiting historic locations, costuming, period adaptations, novels and music, food and culture.  Follow me as I trace my roots and enjoy my love for history as much as I do.
